1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CEAR Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.
2. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
3. Services & Marketplace
CEAR Pro is a marketplace connecting homeowners with service professionals. We facilitate discovery, messaging, and payment but are not a party to the service agreement between homeowners and professionals. CEAR Pro is not responsible for the quality of work performed.
4. Payments & Escrow
All payments are processed through our escrow system. Funds are held until the homeowner confirms satisfactory completion of work. Professionals must maintain an active Stripe Connect account to receive payouts.
5. Professional Verification
Professionals may submit credentials for verification. Verification indicates that submitted documents have been reviewed, but does not constitute a guarantee of work quality. CEAR Pro reserves the right to revoke verification status at any time.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, either party may file a dispute through the platform. Our support team will review the case and determine a fair resolution, which may include full or partial refund, release of funds, or other remedies.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not: misrepresent their identity or credentials; engage in fraudulent activity; harass other users; attempt to circumvent the payment system; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
CEAR Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
