1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CEAR Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.
2. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
3. Services & Marketplace
CEAR Pro is a marketplace connecting homeowners with service professionals. We facilitate discovery, messaging, and payment but are not a party to the service agreement between homeowners and professionals. CEAR Pro is not responsible for the quality of work performed.
4. Payments & Escrow
All payments are processed through our escrow system. Funds are held until the homeowner confirms satisfactory completion of work. Once payment is released, CEAR Pro pays the professional their earnings directly.
5. Referral Credit
Clients may invite other clients using a personal invite link. When someone signs up through your link and completes their first booking of $50.00 USD or more, you and they each receive $10.00 USD in referral credit. Credit is applied automatically to your next booking, reduces what you pay rather than what the professional receives, and has no cash value: it cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for money. Credit does not currently expire, but CEAR Pro may change or end the referral programme at any time, and credit is reversed if the booking that earned it is refunded. Referring yourself, creating accounts on someone else's behalf, and any other attempt to generate credit without a genuine booking are prohibited. Where we believe a link is being abused we may stop it earning, withhold or remove credit, and, in serious cases, suspend the account. Contact support if you believe we have got that wrong.
6. AI Features
The cost estimator, the renovation visualiser and the quote comparison use Google's Gemini models to turn what you provide into an estimate, a set of ideas, an image, or a side-by-side comparison. What they produce is illustrative: cost figures are approximate, generated images show an idea rather than a construction plan, and none of it is a quote, a survey, a valuation, or professional advice on structure, safety, or permits. The quote comparison carries one risk the others do not: it reads what each document says and can misread it, so the figures it shows are its interpretation and not the contractor's offer. Check anything that matters against the original document before you decide, and treat the recommendation as a starting point rather than a procurement decision. Prices are confirmed by a professional after seeing the space, and you should not rely on AI output for any decision that would normally need a qualified opinion. Every generated image is labelled as AI generated in the app, and Google embeds an invisible SynthID watermark in the images its models produce. Daily limits apply per account, and CEAR Pro may change, limit, or withdraw these features at any time. You must accept these AI terms before first use. You must not upload photos you do not have the right to share, or images of people who have not agreed to it, and you may only upload a quote or an invoice that was given to you.
7. Professional Verification
Professionals may submit credentials for verification. Verification indicates that submitted documents have been reviewed, but does not constitute a guarantee of work quality. CEAR Pro reserves the right to revoke verification status at any time.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, either party may file a dispute through the platform. Our support team will review the case and determine a fair resolution, which may include full or partial refund, release of funds, or other remedies.
9. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not: misrepresent their identity or credentials; engage in fraudulent activity; harass other users; attempt to circumvent the payment system; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
CEAR Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
